Welcome to the Software Systems Engineering Group (SSE)
The Software Systems Engineering group (SSE) works on methods and techniques that support the efficient development of high-quality software. Prof. Dr. Klaus Schmid heads the work of the group in the following areas:
- Software Product Line Engineering
- Requirements Engineering
- Software Architectures
- Model-driven Engineering
- Engineering of Adaptive Systems
The SSE-approach to these areas relies on a firm foundation in innovative research and aims at the development of methods and techniques which can be readily applied in technology transfer with our research and industrial partners. Further, the knowledge gained in and the results of these research activities are applied to the teachings of the group.
