We, the Software Systems Engineering working group, are currently dealing with various topics along the life cycle of complex systems. In the current BMWi project IIP-Ecosphere, we are engaged in research and development on questions of future AI platforms for industry 4.0 from the perspective of sound software engineering. The focus is on questions of architecture development for flexibly adaptable platform systems as well as implementation-related questions of the development of industry 4.0 standards. For our team, we are looking for creative people who are enthusiastic about research and who would like to cooperate with industry on these issues. As member of our team, you have the opportunity to independently develop research ideas and combine theory and practice.
About you: you have completed a very good scientific degree (master or diploma) in computer science or a related area as well as very good in English in speech and writing (some of the positions also require very good German), you have good perception and good analytic skills as well as a high degree of initiative and enthusiasm for research.
