As soon as possible, the institute of computer science of the department 4 – subject to final grant of resources – plans to fill four positions. Initial contracts will be until the 31st of March 2022:

Scientific position (Ph.D or Post-Doc, fully paid)

It is planned to fill three positions by PhD condidates and one position by a Post-Doc.

Are you interested in software development? Are you interested in making this more efficient and better? Do you want to contribute actively to the improvement of tomorrow’s software development by your own research activities? You want to test your knowledge in practical situations and spread your knowledge? Then, we have a common vision!

The team of the Software Systems Engineering department of the institute of computer science addresses these questions in a plethora of industrial and academic co-operation projects. Thus, the working group is well connected and scientifically active on an international level and co-operates with diverse companies. The topics associated with the open positions concern the areas of Internet-of-Things, DevOps, software platforms, and e-learning. Depending on the position, the applications are information systems (in teaching) or industrial infrastructure management.

Your responsibilities

About you: you have completed a very good scientific degree (master or diploma) in computer science or a related area as well as very good in English in speech and writing (some of the positions also require very good German), you have good perception and good analytic skills as well as a high degree of initiative and enthusiasm for research.
